- Each listing features a link to your email address, your company name and your company telephone number.
- Client email enquires passed directly to your email address.
- Your listings will expire after 6 months at which point, or any time before, you will have an opportunity to upgrade your advertising to a higher level.
To list your property please go to the login page via the main property page on the site and use the username and password that you used to join the program with. Or alternatively Login Here
Once you have logged in you will now be in the members area. Depending on your browser the screen will pretty much look like this....
Now to add your five listings simply click on the Listings button in the grey menu bar at the top.
Here is the next screen you have encountered. Here you can see the records of your listings. As this is your first visit of course there are none, so lets get started....
Please click the Add button in the grey menu bar.
Now you've here you can start to add the details and photographs of your clients properties.
Remember this software produces highly optimised search engine friendly web pages for each property in each language so here are a few tips to help your clients find you on the search engines:
1. The Stock# number will also be the web page title so use a name which is both short and that gives the viewer an indication what the property is about. Example
Stock# Pretty house with red windows WRONG
Stock# Pretty house for Sale In Galicia RIGHT
2. Title in various languages
This is the embedded title of the page that both the viewer can see, and the search engines will use to determine the relevance of the page. Each language can feature a different title. Again use the same principle as in point 1. to determine the most suitable title of the page.
3. The next item that requires consideration is the 'Short Description'. This should be a few words which simply describe the property including a reference to the type and area. Example
"Attractive three bedroom house for sale in the village of Marraron near Murcia." This points both the visitor and the search engine indexing tools to the fact that its a House, its For Sale, its in Mazarron and is in Murcia. Bear in mind that the most popular search term for houses that fall in to that criteria is probably "House for sale in Murcia".
4. Description in various languages. Here you can use our software's own built in word processing suite to create attractive and elegant property listings. I leave you to discover the tools for yourself. If you have a problem we can delete the listing and you can start again.
5. Search Engine Site Title. This item is the main reference point that the search engines will use to reference your listing. It is important that it is short, not ambiguous, specific, logical and simple. If you want visitors to find your property listings from search engine referrals, pay attention to this point.
6. Meta tag description. Is a further coded embedded text in the page that tells the search index software where to classify this page. Again it should be one simple logical line of text that clearly states the point of the page.
7. Meta tag keywords are a comma seperated list of relevant words that relate to the page you are forming. To use the Galicia example from point 1. The correct Meta keywords for that page might be " Property, house, for, sale, Galicia, Bargain".
That's the hard bit out of the way, you now have a choice of which style of photographic display suits the images you have. You can select from a long list of features, which suit your particular property.
Finally images. Select 6 images, the top image will be the main image that displays first on the property, please give the images names, it does help search engine placement if there are several images on a page and the image names are relevant to the page title.
Final point; image size should really be no larger than 100kb, ideally 50kb. There are not many users with dial-up connections but a batch of images on a page of more than 100kb each, and the poor old dial-up viewer will get bored and go on to search for the nearest English bar where he can get his breakfast instead.
